LimnoTech is an employee-owned water science and environmental engineering firm serving clients throughout the United States and internationally. Founded in 1975, LimnoTech is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with regional offices in Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC; and the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

We work with a range of clients, including municipalities, regional governmental units, the federal government, industry, non-governmental organizations, legal firms, and other engineering firms, to address water-related challenges. Our projects have addressed almost every major water issue, including watershed management, wet weather challenges, ecosystem restoration, data science and modeling, environmental observing, urban revitalization, contaminants, climate resiliency, and more. We’re also a leader in corporate water stewardship implementation, working with global companies to address their water challenges and reduce their volumetric water footprints.

Our highly experienced and multidisciplinary staff includes engineers, scientists, hydrologists, geologists, biologists, aquatic ecologists, programmers, chemists, statisticians, planners, and geographers. We have successfully undertaken environmental projects of every size throughout the United States and around the world.
