Project Amistad is a not for profit agency established to provide services to elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and persons at risk. It provides a variety of Transportation Programs as well as the Guardianship & Money Management Program. These programs have served tens of thousands of persons throughout West Texas since the agency was established in 1976.
Project Amistad is also the designated Managed Transportation Organization (MTO) serving Medicaid patients in 23 counties of Far West Texas.
The agency is the second largest transportation agency in the El Paso area, second to the City of El Paso’s Sun Metro.
