    Scheduled Hours/Days: M-F 7:30 - 4:00. 260 days/year

    Qualifications:
    High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years administrative support and secretarial experience are required. Knowledge of K-12 systems, experience with finance systems and a 2-year degree are preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and great attention to detail.

    Pay Rate/Range: $25.50/hr. - $27.39/hr. DOQ 2024-2026 employee agreement

    Job Summary:
    The Administrative Assistant classification requires considerable secretarial skills and involve providing broad administrative support to the building administrator. This position requires moderately complex secretarial skills, and involves decision-making requiring discretion, judgment, and knowledge in the application of established district administrative policies and operations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide administrative and secretarial support for the Director of Buildings and Grounds.

    • Provide administrative support for building head custodians, maintenance, and grounds staff.

    • Manage district keys and key software.

    • Process department purchase orders, purchases, and invoices.

    • Serve as district office receptionist.

    • Provide excellent customer service in person and through phone and digital communications.

    • Demonstrate good judgment and discretion in decision-making and maintaining confidentiality.

    • Maintain accurate records and clear documentation according to departmental needs.
