Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MED-Dept of Medical Education The Department of Medical Education is the unifying force behind all health professions educational programming, innovation and scholarship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions. The Department encompasses many of the programs that make Feinberg unique and extraordinary, and central to its mission is the support, development and recognition of Feinberg faculty members in their roles as educators. The NU Center for Bedside Medicine will elevate Feinberg as a national leader in clinical skills education, assessment and innovation and conduct research to improve the medical training environment to optimize clinical skills and professional fulfillment for clinicians at all levels of training and across multiple disciplines. The Center will also develop continuing medical education (CME) on clinical skills training and assessment delivered in partnership with the Society of Bedside Medicine. It will enhance education and training throughout the medical education lifecycle. This position supports clinical skills and ultrasound education sessions with graduate medical trainees and faculty at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, closely collaborating with clinical skills education program leaders in UME and GME to integrate eorts and build on what already exists. The Administrative Assistant coordinates a broad variety of administrative processes & activities such as database, budget, & HR - maintenance & reporting; communications including website design; & management of supervisor(s) &/or dept's multiple calendars & events. Reviews administrative work procedures, policies & operational methods; identifies & documents as applicable: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); best practices; appropriate filing & audit mechanisms; financial & performance metrics reporting; & regulatory & compliance systems. Target hiring range for this position will be between $21.48 to $30.21 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
