Purpose Reporting to the Director, Digital and Social Marketing, this position will be responsible for e-commerce development, planning and management, effectively driving and growing revenue and profit, cross-platform search engine optimization, and supporting partner (retail, distributor, etc.) digital platforms. Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement e-commerce initiatives to accelerate revenue and profit growth across e-commerce channels such as Amazon.com, Walmart Marketplace, and support additional retail digital platforms such as AutoZone.com, NAPA Online, etc.
- Lead key e-commerce marketing initiatives to connect with consumers through enhanced content development, ratings and reviews, relevant and differentiated products and value propositions to build relationships with online consumers.
- Manage the development of online marketing initiatives including promotional planning, search engine optimization, online pricing optimizations, and new product launches to deliver high Marketing ROI (MROI) leveraging platforms such as Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, and future platforms, etc.
- Leverage and consistently track online metrics and optimize online marketing initiatives to deliver the best consumer experience, drive consumer acquisition and deliver highest margins, return on ad spend, and MROI.
- Manage online category management for Amazon and Walmart Marketplace taking into consideration consumer shopping trends, product sales velocity and profitability across each channel, understand online consumer pain insights and needs, and assess online competitive products to have most compelling value propositions.
- Develop merchandising plans for new and existing products and categories on the websites in collaboration with marketing, product, and sales teams. Own e-comm marketing and promotional calendar development and mgmt.
- Launch and test emerging e-commerce capabilities, especially mobile/smart devices, to simplify online consumer shopping behaviors.

Business Partnering Responsibilities
- Maintain a clear understanding of stakeholders' (internal and external) impact to business.
- Collaborate with OWI Sales, Product Management, and Digital Marketing for key account planning and development for omnichannel customers (e.g., AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, etc.).
- Work with Marketing Leadership to execute multi-year strategic product roadmap to drive e-commerce growth within current and emerging e-comm channels.
- Educate the organization and build stakeholder alignment to support Digital Commerce strategy and digital best practices and opportunities to achieve and exceed business goals.
- Develop analytics dashboards and key customer insights/data to support e-Comm strategy, including cross-functional updates, new product launches, promotional calendar, roadmap calibration.
- Actively collaborate with key internal functional groups such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Technical/R&D, and Finance to achieve growth objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to maintain product information scorecard for owned and partner platforms. Work closely with internal catalog team to develop audit process, plan/update/schedule content development, product lifecycle process (new through sunset), etc.
- Manage day-to-day agency relationships working closely with existing partners and looking for new partners as technology evolves (e.g., generative ai search, etc.)
Travel Requirements

Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years related experience with a focus on planning and executing eCommerce, Digital Merchandising, Digital Marketing and/or digital solutions for brands in the retail, service or automotive categories (agency or brand-side)
- Entrepreneurial and nimble, takes ownership and drives forward amidst ambiguity while also building relationships and alignment cross-functionally with internal and external partners to contribute to overall corporate initiatives and growth goals.
- Strategic thought leadership with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to drive e-comm growth. Diverse experience supporting sales, marketing, operations, customer service and finance.
- Experienced in developing cross-platform digital programs with increasing complexity
- Basic knowledge of data and metrics used to measure performance and determine improvements using Microsoft Excel is a must. Experience using Google Analytics is a bonus.
- Manages digital dashboards and customer data to support holistic analytics strategy, cross-functional updates, and quarterly business reviews (with internal and external stakeholders)
- Analytically minded and able to structure and mine data, use diagnostic web metrics, build projections and analyze opportunities
- Lead the development of business cases backed by analytics, and well thought out test-and-learn designs
- Build relationships with retail partners to understand each platform nuances, timing, and marketing opportunities to drive item, category, and brand growth.
- Strong communication skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail with the ability to simplify a complex product narrative.
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team environment where priorities change often. Aptitude for data analysis. Initiative to take on new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
