This position reports to

Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The successful individual must be comfortable multitasking by answering numerous incoming calls while also maintaining regular outbound calls to targeted customers. You will build relationships across our customer base (end users, distributors, ISPs, OEMs) in addition to our broad commercial and operational team (BDMs, Marketing Specialists, Channel Leader, Application Engineers, etc.). This position operates in a dynamic environment; As such - it's imperative to be organized and have the ability to prioritize responses.
The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote)
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service division in the North region, which is where the candidate should live.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Assists marketing specialists and sales personnel with quotation, order processing/management, customer interactions and internal communication with ABB factories and Aftermarket amongst others.
* Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and out-bound cold calls and emails, as well as fielding of website generated service requests
* Work in concert with the Aftermarket Channel Leader to strengthen relationships with ABB partner organizations (CIO, Distributors, ISPs, OEMs, Utility)
* Generates aftermarket parts proposals for customers along with supporting training of channel partners on Self Help quote tools to drive productivity, as well as work with factory teams to secure material pricing
* Support closing orders, achieve quarterly quotas and meet deadlines

Qualifications for the role
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in the electrical industry.
  • 5 plus years of proposal generation and customer support experience preferred (General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems is helpful).
  • Previous experience with business-to-business customer support preferred and must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $61,900 and $115,100 annually.
