The Recovery Home Associate Director will have the opportunity to shape the program and inspire a transformative journey for individuals battling addiction. Job Objective: The Recovery Home Associate Director will lead the program's operation, ensuring the effective substance use disorder recovery support for individuals served. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred Experience: Relevant experience required; direct shared experience or family member and a minimum of five years of sobriety required Certifications/Licenses: NCRS, or Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor within two years Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: Recovery Home Operator, Cook, Support Specialist Physical Requirements: Employee must have the ability to sustain physical activity both inside and outside for extended periods of time. Work requires ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Travel: Local travel may occur daily Driving: Driving is required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence; must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business Working Conditions: The work environment for this position includes an office environment with a low to medium noise level. Must be able to work with clients that have poor social skills, suffer from mental illness, and have substance use and mental health issues.
