Medical Assistant/Patient Support Associate (MA/PSA) - Allergy - Glenview (Per Diem)

Position Highlights:
* Position: Medical Assistant / Patient Support Associate
* Location: Glenview, IL
* Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 1 PM shifts may vary depending on coverage and business needs

Travel: Travel to other sites required

What you will need:
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
* Certification:CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
* Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
What you will do:
* Answer phones
* Schedule appointments
* Collect co-payments
* Complete patient registration
* Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
* Check in and check out patient
* Verify insurances
* Greet patients and escort them to exam room
* Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
* Provide front office support as needed
* Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
* Phlebotomy and injections may be required
