Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate

May be renewed up to a maximum of five years. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with background in either bioinformatics, cancer biology, epigenomics, immunology, or metabolism to join our NIH-funded laboratory at Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Southern California. These NIH-funded positions offer an outstanding opportunity for collaboration with a diverse team of researchers and physicians, contributing to pioneering research in cancer epigenomics, metabolism, and anti-cancer immune response. This Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate will serve as a key personnel on Dr. Dechen Lin's research projects. She/He will participate in all laboratory activities for the purpose of enhancing and developing research competencies, and will participate in planning, designing and conducting highly technical and complex research projects under the direction of my supervision. She/He will also analyze research data and provides interpretations, contribute to the development of research documentation for publication and/or prepares technical reports, papers and/or records. Preferred Field of Expertise: Note: A copy of the doctoral diploma or other certification that indicates that the terminal degree has been completed satisfactorily is required. If the doctoral candidate has not yet obtained a degree, he/she should provide evidence that a thesis has been approved together with a documented indication of the expected date of formal graduation. It is the responsibility of the faculty mentor to verify this documentation. The documentation is to be filed with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The annual base salary range for this position is $98,186.70 to $115,000.
