Primary Responsibilities We have an exceptional opportunity for an Area Water Resources Business Class Leader, focused on developing and delivering water resource management programs and projects. This role includes both program development and project delivery responsibilities to manage and create detailed designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. This individual will work with HDR's senior water resources leadership to continue our strategic water resource program growth in Alaska. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to formulate project approaches and develop detailed project scopes that meet client expectations. This role will also assist with the identification of sub-consultant arrangements and develop sub-consultant agreements in line with company policies. Focused on developing and delivering water resource management programs and projects throughout Alaska, this role includes both program development and project delivery responsibilities. This leader will work with leadership to continue our program's growth in Alaska. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to formulate project approaches while collaborating with business development teams to identify and develop future opportunities. The candidate will also be responsible for client management while collaborating with business development teams to identify and develop opportunities and pursuits. Services provided may include planning, design, financial analysis, O&M, and alternative delivery. This role will collaborate with our professional discipline groups on technical services, marketing, activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and to implement effective quality assurance and quality control reviews. As a business class leader, the successful candidate will participate in internal strategic planning, budgeting, and plan implementation for our area. As a leader and mentor to junior staff, the successful candidate will engage in and encourage technical involvement in industry organizations and functions including presentations and publications. The candidate will also participate in discussions and facilitate lessons learned for project delivery processes, trends, successes, strengths, and weaknesses. Additional Responsibilities:
