HDR currently has an opening for a Utility Coordinator/EIT to join our team in Houston, TX. The Utility Engineering Coordinator/EIT will be performing several duties in support of a project /design engineer including Utility relocation/coordination for agencies such as TxDOT, Regional Mobility Authorities, Counties, and Cities. Identifying and resolving utility conflicts in the most feasible and time sensitive manner Inputting utility information into Microstation creating Utility Layouts, creating plans sheets for design of utility relocation This requires continual coordination with clients and utility owners to ensure project schedules are met and are in compliance with federal state and local laws and regulations by becoming well versed with the interpretation of TxDOT's Utility Accommodation Rules, Utility Manual, Roadway Design Manual; Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD), and CFR 645 Subparts A & B (Code of Federal Regulations of Utilities). #LI-ES3 Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarityand demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software suchas Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
