The Creators for Good team identifies and partners with a broad spectrum of media platforms and trusted messengers including: celebrities, social influencers, subject matter experts, podcasters, businesses, athletes, musicians, faith leaders and more. The incorporation of trusted messengers is a crucial element to the Ad Council's ability to drive social impact and Creators for Good is deeply integrated within our purpose-driven campaigns, leveraging their voices across our channel mix including social media, advertising, events and media partnerships.

Job Summary:

The Ad Council is seeking an Assistant Manager, Influencer Marketing, Contract Employee (known at the Ad Council as Assistant Manager, Creators for Good) to support talent management and influencer marketing activations for 4+ dedicated campaigns. You will be a key member of a team that is growing rapidly and expanding their remit of talent and trusted messenger engagement among the existing roster of Ad Council campaigns and will blend talent identification, sourcing, and supporting day-to-day campaign execution.

This role will report into a Creators for Good Sr. Manager and provides a significant opportunity for growth and development.

Engagement & Compensation

This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of "at will employment", the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. The compensation for this position is $5,250 monthly, paid semi-monthly (this role is also eligible to earn overtime). Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. We are also open to this role being a fully remote position.

What You'll Do:

Supporting Talent Management & Influencer Campaigns - your primary role as the Assistant Manager, Influencer Marketing is supporting the full-service execution of trusted messenger activations on behalf of Ad Council and its co-branded client campaigns including influencer sourcing, vetting, outreach, and day-to-day communication; creative brief and content development; and campaign launch, tracking and measurement.

More specifically, you will:



  • Identify, evaluate, and vet potential talent partners across multiple influencer activations ensuring strategic fit with campaign goals and target audiences.
  • Lead day-to-day communication and support the growth and nurturing of relationships with talent, talent agencies, influencer networks, and additional partners.
  • Support all aspects of influencer campaign execution including creator contracting, onboarding, briefing, creative content development, campaign launch, tracking, and measurement and all campaign related administrative tasks.
  • Support internal, vendor, and creator invoicing ensuring all vendors and creators are paid on-time
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teammates and vendor partners to ensure Creators for Good programs deliver campaign impact and meet or exceed client goals
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities, including identifying opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and adopting emerging and evolving tactics shared with our team
  • Stay abreast of relevant current events, cultural moments and industry trends to identify new and innovative opportunities or trusted messenger partnerships for campaigns
  • Support collecting and analyzing campaign performance data to identify opportunities for growth
  • Support larger Ad Council efforts at industry events such as panels, conferences & events featuring talent


What You'll Bring:



  • 2+ years of social media, influencer marketing or talent relations experience with previous agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, influencer marketing tools, and familiarity with social listening and measurement across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships internally & with external partners
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to proactively identify unique influencer opportunities
  • Self-starter who excels in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance and manage multiple tasks across concurrent campaigns
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
