Position Title: Industrial Assembler
Wage: $19.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Industrial Assembler at a company in Racine, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Industrial Assembler Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to meet daily production goals - Interpret and understand engineering blueprints and technical schematics to ensure accurate assembly - Assemble products, sub-assemblies, and individual parts using various tools and techniques - Perform adjustments, repairs, and rework as needed to meet quality control standards and design specifications - Operate a variety of tools including power drills, saws, hand tools, tape measures, and levels - Adhere to all company procedures, safety protocols, and production directives. Maintain and care for all tools used during the assembly process to ensure proper functioning and longevity - Keep work areas clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with 5S and company housekeeping standards Requirements for Industrial Assembler: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar manufacturing role preferred - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Comfortable with physical work and capable of lifting heavy items with team support - Familiarity with standard hand and power tools used in manufacturing settings - Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety - Good communication skills and a team-first attitude - Ability to assist in team lifts of 100-180 lbs. throughout the workday as needed IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
