Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $23.00/hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am (2-2-3 Rotation) QPS is hiring Machine Operators for an agricultural company in Waupun, WI. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Monitor and operate soybean meal milling equipment in a safe and efficient manner - Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to maintain efficient operations - Conduct quality tests on soybean meal products to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards - Assist with loading and unloading bulk soybean deliveries and finished product shipments - Maintain accurate production records and complete required production documentation - Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company operating procedures - Maintain sanitation standards and perform routine housekeeping throughout the facility - Ensure a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures - Communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, and customers regarding production and operational needs - Provide professional customer service and maintain a positive company image - Assist with general facility maintenance and operational duties as needed Requirements for Machine Operator: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of manufacturing, refinery, processing, or related industrial experience preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Dependable attendance and strong work ethic - Customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality and service - Agriculture or farm background preferred - Ability to follow GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies - Ability to frequently bend, squat, climb, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, and reach above shoulder level - Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements - Ability to occasionally kneel - Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 50 pounds - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around processing equipment IND036 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
