Position Title: Residential Frame Assembler
Wage: $20.00 - $24.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday), 6:00am - 10:00am (Friday) We are looking for a dependable Framer in Montezuma, IA to help build and assemble components used in home construction. This position involves measuring, cutting, and assembling wood materials to create floor decks, wall panels, and roof trusses. The ideal candidate has good attention to detail, can use hand and power tools, and enjoys working as part of a team. Residential Frame Assembler Responsibilities: - Assemble wood components, including floor decks, wall panels, and roof trusses - Measure, mark, and cut lumber and other building materials according to specifications - Follow blueprints and design plans to ensure accurate assembly - Use hand and power tools safely and correctly - Inspect completed components to ensure quality and accuracy - Work with team members to meet daily production goals - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Complete required production and quality paperwork - Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Requirements for Residential Frame Assembler: - High school diploma or GED preferred - Previous construction or framing experience preferred - Knowledge of lumber, building materials, and construction methods is a plus - Experience using hand and power tools preferred - Ability to read a tape measure, including feet, inches, and fractions - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and read basic blueprints - Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday - Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull materials as needed IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
