Nurse Practitioner, Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring our pediatric/adolescent patient population.
* Providing both urgent care and well visit care for patients ages newborn thru 22 years of age.
* This position includes adolescent health care including but not limited to reproductive endocrine health conditions, family planning consultation, and general adolescent medical consultation.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary members of the health care team to design and implement evidence-based care.
* Developing and recommending standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.
* Participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees, and special projects.
* Working 40 hours per week including days M-F at Martha Eliot and a weekend rotation in the Primary Care Clinic located in Longwood.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
* A Masters Degree in Nursing

Experience:
* 1 year of RN experience required
* 3-5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care preferred
* Interest and experience working with an adolescent population preferred
* Ability to work a weekend rotation to the primary care clinic on the Longwood main campus.
* Bilingual skills a plus

Licensure/ Certifications:
* A current MA license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PNP required)
