Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Expeditor at Epiroc!

As a Manufacturing Expeditor, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, supporting production operations through material coordination, production readiness, facility support, inventory activities, machine setup support, and production tracking.

Location: Onsite in Two Harbors, MN

Shift Details: 06:30am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Review work orders, routers, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation to facilitate daily material flow throughout manufacturing operations.
• Monitor production priorities and support production schedules.
• Verify materials, tooling, fixtures, and equipment are available before production begins.
• Transport materials and finished goods using forklifts, cranes, and other approved equipment.
• Identify and communicate material shortages, delays, and bottlenecks.
• Assist with ERP and Factory Track transactions and reporting.
• Track job progression through manufacturing work centers.
• Assist with machine and part setup activities and changeovers.
• Support oven operations including loading, unloading, monitoring, and documentation.
• Perform garbage removal, recycling, sweeping, floor scrubbing, and general facility upkeep.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisors and Managers.

This position is a Safety Sensitive Position. A Safety Sensitive Position is a position in which an employee performs duties that require a high degree of alertness, attention, accuracy, judgment, coordination, or safety awareness, and where impairment could reasonably result in serious injury, illness, death, property damage, or environmental harm. Examples may include operating motor vehicles, forklifts, cranes, heavy equipment, machinery, or performing work involving hazardous materials, energized equipment, confined spaces, or other high-risk activities.

The compensation for this position is between $23.00 and $30.00 hourly depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or production support experience preferred.
• Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, routers, bills of material, and basic manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to recognize and communicate material shortages, production delays, and bottlenecks.
• Ability to safely use material-handling equipment after required training or certification.
• Basic inventory-control and production-tracking skills.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Ability to identify problems and support continuous improvement activities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and reach at or above shoulder level.
• Frequently use hands and arms to handle, grip, grasp, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to climb on and off material-handling equipment and maintain balance while performing assigned duties.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 33 pounds independently and move heavier materials with assistance or approved lifting equipment.
• Ability to safely perform the physical movements and maintain the coordination necessary to operate forklifts, cranes, jib hoists, floor scrubbers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment requires PPE.
• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment.
• Work is performed indoors and occasionally outdoors.
