We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to play a pivotal role in bringing cutting-edge casual intimates and shapewear to life. What You'll Do

• Champion the technical design process from concept development through to final garment fit approval, owning the integrity of each style.
• Lead and participate in critical garment fittings, meticulously evaluating fit, comfort, balance, and construction to ensure perfection.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of garment samples, providing expert recommendations for pattern, measurement, and construction adjustments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive tech packs, precise measurement specifications, and detailed fit comments that guide production.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Design teams, safeguarding their creative vision while upholding rigorous fit, quality, and comfort benchmarks.
• Translate complex fit adjustments and technical specifications into clear, actionable instructions for manufacturing partners.
• Critically review revised samples, proactively resolving any fit discrepancies to ensure garments align with approved standards.
• Navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple styles and development deadlines with precision.
• Offer valuable support and mentorship to junior technical design team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented atmosphere.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on technical design experience within intimates or apparel, with a strong preference for casual intimates, shapewear, lingerie, or similar close-fitting garments.
• Proven ability to independently lead fittings and make decisive technical fit recommendations.
• Exceptional understanding of garment construction, intricate pattern corrections, precise measurements, and detailed fit specifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in crafting comprehensive tech packs and writing detailed, actionable fit comments.
• Superior communication skills to clearly convey complex technical corrections to manufacturing partners globally.
• Proficiency with PLM systems, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Illustrator, or comparable industry-standard technical design software.
• Sharp problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a talent for managing competing priorities effectively.
• A highly collaborative and adaptable working style, maintaining composure and effectiveness under tight deadlines.
• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent professional experience that showcases your deep industry knowledge.

• Specialized expertise in specific categories such as shapewear, bras, panties, bodysuits, or seamless intimates.
• Experience working with challenging materials like stretch fabrics, compression garments, or advanced technical knit constructions.
• Familiarity with industry-leading PLM systems such as Centric PLM or FlexPLM.
• Experience contributing to high-volume product development cycles for prominent fashion or intimates brands.
• A passion for mentoring and guiding junior Technical Designers, sharing your expertise and fostering team growth.
