Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker to retrieve, move, and put away inventory at elevated warehouse locations.
• Pick orders accurately using scanners, pick lists, or warehouse management systems.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and locations to ensure order accuracy.
• Transport inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year current cherry picker certification and hands-on operating experience required.
• Previous warehouse, order-picking, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely at elevated heights.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Current certification or experience operating cherry pickers, order pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as a Certified Cherry Picker Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights while operating cherry picker equipment.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and moving inventory while following established safety procedures.
