Schedule: Part time 20 hours a week Mon-Fri 4 hours per day between 6:30am-2pm

• Recycling duties- gather cardboard, break down and put in recycle bins
• Emptying outside and inside trash receptacles weighing up to 33lbs.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Manufacturing environment exposure and janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Custodian.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 33 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
