Job Duties Set up and operate automated grind lines to produce quality products according to specifications. Measure raw materials and perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Follow established procedures for operating and monitoring centerless grinders, infeed robot cells, and chamfer robot cells. Troubleshoot machine and process issues to maintain production output and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints to verify product requirements and resolve quality concerns. Identify, separate, and report nonconforming materials while accurately documenting findings in reporting systems and production paperwork. Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment checks. Complete daily housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures to support efficient manufacturing operations. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Experience performing quality inspections and documenting production data. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment. Willingness to train on a different shift for up to 6 weeks if required. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift trays of inserts weighing up to 33 pounds. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and material handling. Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and safety shoes. Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with dust collection systems.
