Maintenance Utility Technician (3rd Shift, OWW)

The Maintenance Utility Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment while supporting LEAN, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines facility cleaning, basic maintenance, and workplace organization to help drive operational excellence.

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and dusting work areas.
• Empty waste containers and dust collectors; keep workspaces organized and clutter-free.
• Clean and restock restrooms and common areas.
• Support 6S initiatives through labeling, floor markings, painting, and visual workplace organization.
• Build and maintain shop aids, fixtures, boxes, trays, and other organizational tools.
• Assist with floor coating installation and facility improvement projects.
• Perform basic welding, cutting, grinding, and general maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Partner with team members on safety, cost-saving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
• Work overtime as needed.

• Previous janitorial, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience using basic hand tools; forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical job duties and work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment and may involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to industrial conditions.
