Security Officer - Shopping Center Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building exteriors, parking facilities, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, unauthorized activity, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and the documentation of daily activities, observations, and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
