Health Education Job SummaryProvides operational, supervisory, and programmatic leadership within the Health Education & Wellness Unit at McKinley Health Center. Reporting to the Director of Health Education, supervises assigned professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers; supports the operational infrastructure of the unit; and contributes meaningfully to the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, equity-centered health education programming. Reporting to the Director of Health Education, supervises assigned professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers; supports the operational infrastructure of the unit; and contributes meaningfully to the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, equity-centered health education programming. * SUPERVISION & ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERSHIP 40% CONSULTATION, PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT & UNIT CITIZENSHIP 20% Specialty Factors Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, Health Promotion, or a closely related field. A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in health education, health promotion, or a related field. Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and/or coordinating the work of professional staff. Preferred QualificationsMasters degree in Public Health, Social Work, Nutrition, Nursing or related area. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
