Human Resources Generalist


Job Summary

The Human Resource(HR) Generalist plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team through the administration and coordination of core talent management, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and HR programs. This position serves as a trusted resource for managers and employees by providing policy guidance, managing routine employee relations matters, maintaining HR programs, and delivering workforce analytics and reporting. The HR Generalist helps ensure consistent employee experience while supporting organizational effectiveness and business objectives.


Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Coordinates and supports recurring HR programs and processes, including talent review, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and other workforce initiatives.
  • Supports workforce planning and talent management activities through program coordination, data tracking, reporting, communications, and follow-up.
  • Serves as a resource to employees and leaders by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, employment practices, and company programs, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Supports employee relations activities by addressing routine workplace concerns, conducting investigations under the direction of an HRBP, documenting findings, and assisting with timely and consistent resolution.
  • Coordinates employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, orientation, employee record maintenance, personnel changes, and related employment processes.
  • Develops and maintains workforce reports and dashboards; analyzes HR, talent, performance, and engagement data to identify trends, support recommendations, and improve reporting processes.
  • Maintains HR policies, employee guides, program materials, and related documentation to support consistency, compliance, and organizational needs.
  • Provides coordination and operational support for HR initiatives and projects, including timelines, communications, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Monitors HR program requirements and effectiveness through tracking, auditing, reporting, and identification of process improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of progressive Human Resources experience, including support of performance management, employee engagement, talent management, and employee relations programs.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment practices, and employee relations, with the ability to provide consultative support and solve complex people-related issues.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization while delivering a positive employee experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, including the ability to translate workforce analytics into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with HR systems, reporting tools, and workforce data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.


Preferred Qualifications
Above requirements and the following:


  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).



  • 2 additional years experience supporting HR teams.



  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations.



  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR analytics reporting.

The pay range for this position is $52,120 - $78,866 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
