As the Vice President of Operations,West Area, you will serve as the senior operations leader and P&L owner responsible for the day-to-day management of all districts and local markets across the assignedWestregion to achieve operational excellence, financial performance, and a consistently high-quality customer experience. You will oversee region-wide, multi-district, multi-location operations across functions including operations, sales, marketing, fleet maintenance, and risk management, coordinating closely with Airport Operations and Legal on facility, concession, and contractual matters, and ensuring execution of company programs and initiatives in support of key business strategies.

As the senior field operations leader for the region, you will build and lead a team of Directors of Operations and location management teams, provide strategic and tactical direction across the region, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that grow revenue, increase profitability, and strengthen customer satisfaction across all markets in theWest Area.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Set the strategic direction for and approve city and district operating plans across theWEA region that maximize revenue and grow market share while aligning with companyobjectivesand guidelines.

  • Monitor regional performance against plans, adjusting strategies, procedures, and standards as needed tooptimizeprofitability and operational results across all districts.

  • Establish regional performance targets and cascade monthly goals for eachdistrict'sand location's key performance indicators, including revenue per unit, transactions,utilization, and incremental sales.

  • Own the regional P&L: forecast, budget, and manage key financial drivers, including revenue, market mix, fleet size,utilization, wage expense, daily dollar average, and incremental revenue penetration across theWest Area.

  • Direct and oversee fleet distribution activities region-wide to ensureappropriate vehicleavailability across all districts and locations.

  • Oversee fleet maintenance, repair, and reconditioning activities across the region to ensure safety, reliability, and readiness.

  • Evaluate regional physical inventories tomaintaintheappropriate mixand age of vehicles.

  • Partner with Corporate Sales and Marketing and Regional/Senior Leadership to develop sales policies, long-termobjectives, and regional marketing plans that support revenue growth and customer experience goals.

  • Review, approve, and prioritize capital projects across the region and analyze operational and financial reports to support informed decision-making at the regional level.

  • Oversee administrative functions across the region, including bill payment andpersonnelrecord processing.

  • Build andmaintainsenior-level professional relationships with local and regional business organizations and governmental agencies to protect company interests and resolve operational challenges.

  • Ensure all Quality Assurance standards are consistently met across all locations in the region.

  • Hire, lead, develop, and evaluate Directors of Operations and district management teams, fostering a performance-driven culture aligned with company goals and HR policies across theWest Area.

  • Serve as a member of the Regional/Senior Leadership Team,representingSEA operations in company-wide strategic planning.

  • Coordinate day-to-day with Airport Operations, Legal, and other corporate functions on facility, concession, contractual, and compliance matters affecting locations across the region.

WhatWe'reLooking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Businessor a related fieldrequired; MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)

  • Ten or more years of progressive operations and sales leadership experience, including at least three or more years leading multi-unit or multi-district operations with direct P&L accountability; vehicle rental or related industry experience preferred (experience requirements may vary based on regional assignment).

  • Demonstrated success managing operations at a regional or multi-district scale, with strong general business knowledge and the ability to lead and direct multiple districts, markets, and location management teams simultaneously.

  • Excellentpeopleleadership and management skills, with the ability to support and motivate large,multi-layeredteams, including managing other people leaders (Directors of Operations), across multiple sites.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to track, analyze, forecast, and improve operational performance at a regional/portfolio level.

  • Very strongwritten, verbal, and executive-level presentation communication skills, includingpresenting tosenior/executive leadership.

  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, governmental agencies, and key business partners.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across theWest Area(at least 50% of the time).

  • Valid driver's license anda good drivingrecord

  • This position requires regular, on-site presence across the region and cannot be performed remotely.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $235,000- $270,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
