Location Address: 4100 High Resort Blvd SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124-5901Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $18.33 Maximum Offer $30.24 Now Hiring: Polysomnography Technologist II-ABQSummary: Performance of Polysomnograms Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: No Job is based: PMG - Rio Rancho High Resort 4100 Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America)Responsibilities: Duties to be performed under the direct supervision of a Polysomnography Technologist II or Licensed Physician.*Performs polysomnography acquisitions, per departmental protocols while monitoring signal quality. *Performs scoring of sleep testing and generates study reports. *Document routine observations per department policy to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results. *Perform routine positive airway pressure mask fitting. *Maintains, cleans, calibrates, and troubleshoots Sleep Center equipment. *Educates patients regarding sleep testing and orients them to the Sleep Center. *Communicates with Sleep Center physicians regarding their patients and / or testing procedures. *Applies electrodes per physician ordered montage and departmental procedure. Other duties to be performed as assigned: *Attends meetings and in-services as required. *Functions as an effective team member. *Other functions as required. Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED*Enrollment in an accredited educational program described in section 5 of the Polysomnographic Practice Act within 7 days from start date. *MA, EEG tech, EMT, Nurse Tech experience preferred. *BLS required. License/Credentials: - will need to be tracked and managed by leader *Application for NM Polysomnographic Trainee Permit/License will be submitted immediately upon completion of the first two modules in accredited educational program (approximately 14 days from start date). *Must complete the accredited program within 6 months from start date. *After completion of the accredited educational program the employee will immediately apply for NM Polysomnographic Temporary Permit. *Must obtain Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) license within 2 years from start date.
