The Aquatics and Risk Management coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the RSOP pool and corresponding aquatic programming. This position is responsible for scheduling, programming, general maintenance, event management and safety oversight of RSOP aquatic programming. This position also oversees many different risk management policies and procedures for the department, including but not limited to providing CPR/First aid/ AED certifications, lifeguarding certification compliance, water safety instructor compliance and first aid kit management for the RSOP department. This position supports the mission and activities of UMD RSOP through whole-unit, campus, and community involvement. To meet the demands and expectations of this position, work hours may vary from week to week and season to season.

About the Department
Recreational Sports Outdoor Program provides recreational, fitness, sport, and outdoor programming to the UMD and Northern Minnesota community. Over 90% of UMD students and over 700 employees participate in RSOP offerings. RSOP consists of 13 professional staff and over 200 student employees providing opportunities through Intramurals, Sport Clubs, Fitness, Aquatics, Climbing, Paddling, Outdoor Trips and Activities, Equipment Rental and much more.
