Inventory Inspector

Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read work orders, pick sheets, shipping documents, and inventory records.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a warehouse environment.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse inventory systems, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, and shipping processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience training or assisting other warehouse team members is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and products.
• Ability to safely lift up to 55 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance when required.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, noise levels, and storage environments.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use handheld scanners or warehouse tools.

Job Duties

• Receive, unload, store, pick, pack, stage, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Review pick tickets, work orders, item numbers, and batch information to ensure order accuracy.
• Package, label, palletize, and prepare shipments for customer delivery.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality, quantity, damage, and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain organized inventory locations, storage areas, and warehouse workspaces.
• Support production and shipping schedules by moving materials and coordinating order flow.
• Assist with employee training and team support activities as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse following company safety policies and 5S practices.
• Perform additional warehouse, inventory, and logistics duties as needed.
