This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.

We have immediate openings for entry level and/or developing from 0 to 5 years experience Modeler/Drafter.

The drafter/modeler shall have a working knowledge of drafting methods, procedures and techniques.

Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.

He/she shall also possess a working knowledge of Siemens NX preferred or PTC CREO 3D CAD software. PLM software: Team Center or Windchill and SAP experience is desirable.

Performs duties under established procedures.
Normally receives detailed instructions and works under close supervision.
May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage.
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and has little or no role in decision-making.
Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Pursuing a 2 year Associate Degree in Product Definition or equivalent work related experience.

Required Experience:

A drafter/modeler must have the skills and experience to perform the following tasks:



  • Prepare models/details/assemblies and sub-assemblies of simple to moderately complex parts.
  • Prepare models and drawings ofisimple to moderately complex assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Work closely with engineering to incorporate all requirements into a design.
  • Comply with all related specifications in the preparation of product definition, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
