This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventive maintenance of everything inside and outside the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests
  • Keep all equipment in top-notch condition and promptly handle repairs
  • Proactively assist with repairs and maintenance under the guidance of the Supervisor or as needed, using service work checklists, preventative maintenance protocols, and operational tests
  • Execute all scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, including servicing, grinding, and adjustments
  • Perform comprehensive walk-around inspections, assessing equipment conditions, and identifying parts requiring repair or replacement
  • Support housekeeping assistance as needed.



Physical Demands:

Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more

Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools

Ability to climb stairs and ladders

Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

Must have minimum of five-year hands-on experience working on electrical, painting, plumbing, kitchen equipment, laundry and HVAC-R repairs.

Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards

Ability to obtain and/or maintain any required licenses, certificates or permits require for the performance of duties listed above
