FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 40 hours/week Join our Pediatric Therapy team at Children's Village! Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of a diverse group of dedicated professionals providing comprehensive therapy services to children with developmental delays and disabilities. We incorporate many general and specialty lines of service, offer a strong mentorship program. Our team enjoys the following aspects of working at Children's Village: Serve children ages 3-18 through evidence-based services. Provide in-person services in clinic, and community-based settings, allowing families to receive support where children naturally learn and grow. As part of our Children's Village team, there are ongoing educational opportunities to further develop skills in relationship-based and family-centered practice. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, early childhood educators, nurses, and behavioral therapists to support positive developmental outcomes. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients. Responsibilities: You will perform well in stress and emergency situations You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients Requirements: State of Washington Occupational Therapist license Current BLS Certification required Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy preferred Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $44.42 - $67.33 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
