About the Role

We are seeking a Operator 2, bakeryto join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Operator 2, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring mixing and automated production equipment to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and production standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production operations through equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, and adherence to established recipes and production schedules.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Weekend availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust mixing and production equipment to ensure product quality and specification compliance.
• Monitor food products and equipment performance to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and operational records.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Support production schedules, changeovers, recipes, and daily operational goals.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Equipment and product knowledge.
• Basic equipment and product troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in food manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of production schedules, recipes, and process controls.
• Preventive maintenance support experience.
