Waukesha Dallas components facility is looking for an individual to assist with managing physical and systematic inventory accuracy. Candidate will routinely perform inventory cycle counts and perform process audits to ensure integrity of inventory system. Attention to detail is key for the success of this role. Along with inventory audits, this person will also aid in continuous improvement projects and assist with new procedure development. Experience with ERP systems and Excel or critical as part of this role generates reports and updates critical system records.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Problem solves stock issues to support sale and manufacturing goals
- Spot check outbound shipments for quality and accuracy
- Perform cycle counts and input inventory data into ERP system
- Produce inventory reports and update relevant inventory KPI
- Support various quality control inventory requests
- Ensure inventory is properly identified and stored safely
- Project manage continuous improvement projects
- Implement new material handling procedures as needed to ensure system integrity
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine material requirements
- Follow proper procedures to adhere to ISO standards
- Assist in internal goods movement as needed.
- Takes proactive measures to prevent discrepancies
- Assist with inventory projects and cycle counts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES |
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
- MS office suite and general computer knowledge
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
- Ability to effectively communicate to ensure accurate inventory reporting
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead.
- Be proficient in data entry with minimal errors, and detail-oriented.
Required Education / Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- 1 year shipping and receiving experience with material handling experience preferred.
Preferred Education / Experience
- 5 years shipping and receiving experience with material handling experience preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory or stockroom management
- SAP/WMS/ERP experience
- Proficient Level - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
