Position summary:

Manage all planning functions within the work management process at the Neil Simpson Complex for electrical repairs and projects.

Pay Range: $97,150 - $160,150 (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Reporting Relationship: O&M Senior Manager

Location: Gillette, Wyoming

Essential Functions:
* Ensure electrical work is planned in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to assure employees and contractors follow all BHC safety rules, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
* Plan work to meet company goals of achieving targeted availability for each unit.
* Partner with Maintenance staff to optimize efforts and maintain minimum electrical backlog at acceptable level.
* Support overhaul and outage work. Participate in outage project work planning and supervising as assigned.
* Prepare, provide, and maintain documentation such as environmental, work orders, material requests, performance contacts, accident reports, attendance reports, preventive maintenance and overhaul work reports and other logs as assigned.
* Initiate and coordinate contracts for contract work required for operation of generation units under the responsibility of the Maintenance Department.
* Schedule work for contractor personnel.
* Work with Supply Chain for parts requisition, contract administration and accounting.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Fill in as necessary for the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Participate in on-call rotation to support the operation of the plant during the night and weekends.

What Is Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance repair experience.
* This position requires driving responsibilities. You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company and insurer standards.

What Is Desired:
* Plant troubleshooting.
* Repair and installation of plant equipment.
* Inventory, parts, and work planning.
* Knowledge of safety codes and company policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate ability to plan, coordinate and direct work in a safe and efficient manner.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and lead multiple projects concurrently.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
* Practical electric knowledge and experience applying National Fire Protection Association 70E (NFPA) and National Electric Code (NEC) to high voltage and low voltage situations.
