Job Overview The Part-Time State Reporting Analyst supports the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of student data used for Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) state reporting. This position conducts audits of student information system data, identifies discrepancies and reporting risks, and works directly with school and central office staff to correct data issues prior to state submissions. The analyst provides training, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure data quality while serving as a subject matter expert on VDOE reporting requirements, business rules, and reporting nuances. Qualifications Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Education Associate's Degree or higher and experience with business analysis, databases, software, technology solutions, computer information science, data science, or applied mathematics Experience Minimum of five years of direct experience supporting the Virginia Department of Education state reporting, including student record collections, data validation, auditing, and resolution of reporting errors. Non-exempt employees working remotely must adhere to their regular scheduled hours and obtain prior approval from their supervisor before working more than eight hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a workweek.
