What You'll Do



  • Work extensively with existing datasets and integrate information from multiple data repositories.
  • Combine diverse data sources through complex queries and joins.
  • Rigorously validate data, identify data quality issues, and pinpoint anomalies and outliers.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover critical trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop clear, compelling data visualizations and reports for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Investigate, track, communicate, and escalate data-related issues with appropriate urgency.
  • Manage multiple workflows and priorities effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of professional data analysis experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven experience analyzing large and/or complex datasets.
  • Experience working with data from multiple source systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow defined processes.
  • A keen analytical ability to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues, rather than simply reporting surface-level data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Utility industry experience.
  • Familiarity with electric utility or customer usage data.
  • Exposure to AMI, GIS, or real-time operational datasets.
  • Experience with clean energy initiatives, including EVs, batteries, electrification, or grid-related projects.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Knowledge of other querying or data technologies.
  • Database management skills.
  • Experience with data integration and/or data pipeline management.
  • Background in data engineering.
  • Expertise in working with very large datasets and complicated data relationships/joins.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with bulk data testing, including the development and execution of testing and verification plans.
  • Skills in data pipeline troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience in product, application, or analytical tool development.
