Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) to support a complex Department of War (DoW) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and communicating Integrated Master Schedules that support program execution, performance management, and strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in schedule management tools, and the ability to provide actionable insights to program leadership.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for DoW programs.
  • Perform schedule planning, baseline development, and ongoing schedule maintenance activities.
  • Conduct schedule analysis, including:


    • Baseline variance analysis
    • Critical path analysis
    • Driving path analysis
    • Schedule forecasting
    • Milestone tracking and management
    • Dependency identification and management
    • Schedule risk identification and assessment


  • Facilitate IMS planning sessions, status meetings, and schedule reviews with program stakeholders.
  • Produce recurring schedule and program status reports for program management and executive leadership.
  • Analyze program performance across cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk dimensions.
  • Translate complex program data into clear, concise recommendations and executive-level briefings.
  • Develop schedule graphics, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate program health, execution trends, key milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Collaborate with program managers, technical teams, government stakeholders, and functional leads to ensure schedule integrity and alignment with program objectives.
  • Support program reviews, audits, milestone decisions, and reporting requirements.


Required Qualifications



  • Education:


    • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent experience.


  • Skills & Competencies:


    • Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting the management of Federal Government programs.
    • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules for complex programs.
    • Expertise performing schedule variance analysis, critical path analysis, driving path analysis, schedule forecasting, risk assessment, and milestone management.
    • Experience facilitating schedule planning and status meetings with multiple stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and OnePager Pro, or equivalent scheduling and visualization tools.
    • Experience creating executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, and visual presentations.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience assessing cost, schedule, performance, and risk across Department of War programs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.


  • Clearance:


    • Active Secret Security Clearance.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
  • Knowledge of Defense Acquisition System processes and program management best practices.
  • Experience supporting executive-level program reviews and governance boards.


Preferred Certifications



  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
  • AACE PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $95,030 - $114,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
