Are you a master orchestrator of complex projects, thriving in a fast-paced, high-impact environment? We are seeking a visionary program manager to join a leading Advanced Hardware Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing cutting-edge autonomous hardware, infotainment electronic control units, and critical electrical components to life. You will navigate intricate cross-functional landscapes, working closely with engineering leaders across software, hardware, vehicle engineering, and product teams. This is an opportunity to scale your influence by developing structured ways of working, tackling challenging problems with numerous dependencies, and ensuring the seamless delivery of revolutionary technology.

What You'll Do



  • Define tasks, allocate resources, and establish timelines in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure successful program delivery that aligns with company milestones.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap, effectively communicating deliverables to stakeholders and fostering accountability across teams.
  • Proactively identify potential risks within the program schedule and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Structure meeting agendas to facilitate key decisions, eliminate bottlenecks, and minimize risks, ensuring efficient progress.
  • Establish and maintain standard reports to provide concise and impactful communications to key stakeholders regarding program status, identified issues/risks, and accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to accurately define and track resource requirements, including both headcount and budget allocations.
  • Support critical decision-making processes, working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and strategy teams to arrive at optimal conclusions.


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Program Management or Engineering Management, specifically managing cross-functional teams involved in hardware/software integration during the development phase.
  • BS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in tools essential for managing complex projects, such as JIRA and Gantt charts.
  • Prior experience working effectively with contract manufacturers.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a strategic perspective while providing clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to diverse audiences.


Bonus Qualifications That Will Set You Apart



  • Direct experience managing 2 or more program development cycles for a system involving both hardware and software integration.
  • Experience within the automotive industry and/or camera development.
  • MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong professional references that highlight your exceptional ability to build robust working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across various functions and departments.
