Job Description
The Warehouse Assoc III - Lead position supervises daily operations, coordinating staff, inventory control, and shipping/receiving to ensure efficiency and safety. They act as the bridge between management and floor staff, driving productivity, training personnel, and maintaining accurate records. Key duties include operating forklifts, managing order fulfillment, and enforcing safety protocols.
The Warehouse - Inventory Lead position reports to the Operation Supervisor. This position will receive daily supervision and instruction from their Supervisor and the Warehouse Manager.


Job Duties:


  • Supervising, mentoring, and scheduling warehouse staff to meet production targets
  • Serves as backup to the Supervisor, communicating workload or changes to the floor personnel schedules and ensuring that all operations run smoothly
  • Takes an active role in the shift transition period to ensure smooth and efficient transition of shift personnel
  • Assists in ensuring daily goals are met.
  • Conducts daily team meetings with Operators and team members
  • Coordinates the receipt of raw materials and shipment of goods using proper load securement methods
  • Interpret the production schedule and use that knowledge to calculate and submit material requests via an ERP system to our distribution center
  • Managing inventory levels and Conduct cycle counts of various inventory materials as directed by either Inventory Supervisor or Director of Operations
  • Communicate with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain management teams regularly regarding non-conforming products and other urgent matters
  • Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
  • Organize and coordinate RTS returns of leftover packaging and raw materials post-production runs
  • Ensuring all warehouse machinery and equipment are maintained and in good working order
  • Responsible for continuing education and certification on all pieces of equipment when opportunities present themselves
  • Receive purchase orders in ERP system and processes paperwork associated with them to the expectations of Compliance and Accounting teams' needs
  • Enforcing OSHA and company safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
  • Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner
  • Utilize FEFO inventory management method for picking materials by "lot" number for traceability and expiry
  • Ensure materials delivered to manufacturing are within the current expiry avoiding manufacturing downtime and QA deviations
  • Checking pick tickets, bills of lading, and shipments for accuracy
  • Utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking
  • Execute inventory transactions in ERP system as required
  • Execute inventory transactions in RF system as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Willingness to work holidays occasionally due to production demands

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, often 2-5 years
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of safety protocols (e.g., OSHA)
  • Proficiency with WMS & ERP software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
  • Able to effectively communicate ideas (verbally and in writing), be a self-starter and handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow safety regulations
  • Attention to detail while maintaining alertness, professionalism, and honesty
  • Experience with Oracle's NetSuite ERP system
  • High school diploma or GED
