As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, verifying authorized entry in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
