Job Description




As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to incidents, assist with access control and sensitive areas, and communicate professionally during challenging situations. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and the reporting of unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required reports and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
