Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.05 - $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide professional customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and vendor entry in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
