Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Temporary) | 2nd Shift

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temporary 2nd shift opportunity supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with experience in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate ordering of critical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, pressure gauges, and other maintenance equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining automated equipment, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and calibrated systems.
• Ability to read basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Computer proficiency and strong documentation skills.
• Positive attitude with effective communication and teamwork skills.
