A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at its plant in the North Houston area. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and Production Manager, this role is responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and enforcing company policies while working collaboratively across departments to achieve operational goals.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in food manufacturing, including supervisory experience in a production environment. Spanish language skills are required to effectively manage shop-floor staff, support team members, and drive operational excellence.

Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.



Experience Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of food manufacturing experience
  • Previous supervisory or production leadership experience required
  • Spanish language proficiency required
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and food safety regulations
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or TPM experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/manufacturing systems preferred


Job Duties


  • Supervise daily food production operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, HACCP, FSMA, and food safety standards
  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments
  • Train, coach, and develop production employees
  • Promote workplace safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support operational improvements
  • Facilitate effective communication between shifts and departments



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout warehouse operations for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work in active warehouse environments with forklifts, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to inspect warehouse operations and respond to operational needs throughout the facility.
