The Global Procurement team is evolving from more traditional sourcing and procurement goals by looking beyond simple cost savings and creating value for the corporation by improving product profitability, increasing supplier collaboration and leveraging supplier roadmaps to bring new solutions to our business partners. Job Description Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates like you. Role PurposeAs the Director of Procurement - Software & Cybersecurity, you will architect, execute, and govern the global sourcing strategy for Motorola Solutions' critical software ecosystem, third-party cybersecurity solutions, and cloud services. You will be responsible for building a resilient, secure, and high-performing vendor network that powers our safety and security technology ecosystem. This strategic leadership role requires an expert negotiator with a deep understanding of complex software licensing, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity risk. You will balance commercial optimization, innovation, compliance, and rigorous vendor security standards to drive sustainable value for Motorola Solutions. Key Responsibilities
Location: Employee must be based in the Greater Chicago Area with the expectation to be in office 3 days per week. LI-#AB1 LI-#Hybrid Target Base Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $190,000.00 Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
