Job Summary

The Sr. Talent Supervisor provides oversight and direction to the daily activities of the HR specialists to ensure that they operate in alignment with our onboarding, operational, and compliance practices and protocols. In addition, the HR Specialist Supervisor supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives that enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process and ensure that onboarding compliance processes are followed in accordance with our regulatory laws, practices, and protocols.
  • Provide oversight to ensure that the HR Specialist processes and support employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and employment status changes within HR systems.
  • Conducts audits to ensure that the HR Specialist maintains accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity to support compliance and reporting.
  • Ensures that the HR Specialist manages offboarding activities by approving terminations and completing associated tasks in a timely manner. In addition, provides oversight to solidify that the HR Specialist supports unemployment claim responses and hearings in partnership with HR Consultants.
  • Support organization-wide talent initiatives such as leadership development, talent management, and organizational development platforms.
  • Conduct all agency platform orientations including our affiliates from Emory and Morehouse.
  • Support competency development, career pathways, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and communication with participants.
  • Support organization-wide talent initiatives such as leadership development, talent management, and organizational development platforms
  • Stay current on talent development best practices, adult learning principles, and industry trends.

Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in organizational development, performance management, or HR operations required
  • 3-5+ years of leadership and team management experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines required
  • Proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools required
  • Experience working with enterprise HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) or LMS platforms required
