Your responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate machining equipment to perform milling, drilling, threading, sawing and boring operations on materials. Programs CNC machining equipment.
  • Perform daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, positioning work area and setting parameters.
  • Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform inspection of parts utilizing gauges / measuring devices and reviews blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.
  • Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.

Who we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • 5+ years of previous machining experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
  • Basic blueprint understanding required
  • Understanding of G-Code programming preferred

Ideally, you will also have

  • Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles.
  • Clean equipment and work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
