Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Facility HIM Prep Scanner to join our team in Louisville, KY!

Performs all tasks related to chart document retrieval, prepping and scanning into the electronic medicalrecord. Employee is able to perform all other duties as assigned. Promotes corporate integrity throughcompliance with the BHS Corporate Responsibility Program. This position is onsite at each hospital.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree/RHIT / RHIA preferred.

Formal education in HIM will be considered in lieu of experience.
* RHIA certification equates to 4 years of HIM work experience.
* RHIT certification equates to 2 years of HIM work experience.

• Two years minimum computer experience, with proficiency in data entry and basic MS Officeapplications including Word and Excel required

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology required

• Notary public/eligible to obtain as needed.

5-day work week; 8:00am-4:30pm
