As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment

This position will function as a Specialty Care Transport Unit (SCTU) RN on the Pediatric Transport Team as well as serve as a valuable resource throughout the institution, assisting with intra-hospital transport of pediatric patients, conscious sedations, IV placements, etc.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification are required. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification and EMT License are preferred. 3-5 years of previous experience as a PICU RN or related experience required. Pediatric Transport experience is preferred. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Evening Shift, 36 hours per week, 3pm-3:30am with rotation.
